Must-Have Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years buying media in local markets (regional and national buys a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or related field
- Experience executing media buys and building media relationships to reach client objectives
- Experience using media software to plan media buys
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with media, and negotiate on behalf of client
- Demonstrated ability to manage media budgets
- Ability to communicate media plans and overall strategy to clients and upper management
- Problem-solver and over-communicator with an exceptional attention to detail
- Passionate and cooperative team player with a strong work ethic
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and web-based software programs
