“WHAT ABOUT BOB”
Penetrating the market and re-establishing Bob Bell as a legacy brand in Baltimore, our team wrote, shot, produced and coordinated the media planning and placement for a television and radio campaign. Beginning with the launch of the rebrand externally and running for a year to build market share, the “What About Bob” commercials focused on Bird Bell’s recollection of her father, Bob Bell, and how he built such a successful, customer-focused business, now in its second generation. The campaign includes a series of unique 30-second commercials for television and radio running on top tier stations.

Our team supports the monthly creation of 30- and 15-second television commercials for each of the Bob Bell manufacturers – Group, Ford, Chevy, Nissan, Hyundai and Kia – driving traffic to the four locations and promoting top deals and savings in real-time. We write and produce each commercial, including custom on-screen visuals, as well as media planning, placement and trafficking for every spot. This includes hundreds of TV commercials every year!

A. Bright Idea redesigned BobBell.com to incorporate new branding, update key messaging and integrate custom video content with the use of brand attributes that customers can connect with on a personal level. We also focused on the user experience by ensuring the new site optimizes for mobile and tablet view, as well as by integrating links for each manufacturer’s site and the Bob Bell Automotive group’s full view of pre-owned inventory.

MARKETING COLLATERAL
For external communications and to build stronger brand recognition, we designed and coordinated production for a suite of marketing collateral including hang tags, postcards, posters, giveaways and more. Each remains consistent with Bob Bell branding while also promoting important key messaging and call to action for the target audience. All materials also include customized versions for each location/manufacturer, making them localized and more specific.
