OVERVIEW BROCHURE
Merging two existing collateral documents into one compelling piece highlighting BASF’s STEM Education Program, our team created a refreshing and captivating brochure to promote the program’s value to both internal and external audiences. Incorporating bright and dynamic colors, and large photographs of BASF students, we created the oversized brochure in both print and digital formats.

SCIENCE ACADEMY VIDEO
As part of a social media video series to raise awareness of BASF’s STEM Education offerings, our multimedia team gave the viewer a glimpse into the participants’ perspective of the Science Academy, a two-week summer program. The hands-on learning environment allows high school students an opportunity to work in college chemistry labs with professionals in the industry. The 30-second video featured interviews with BASF leadership, Science Academy students and a birds-eye view through b-roll of the two-week session.

YOU BE THE CHEMIST
The second in a four-part social media video series to raise awareness of BASF’s STEM Education offerings, our multimedia team captured the competition of the You Be The Chemist Challenge. The program celebrates and elevates the science of chemistry to inspire on-going study and careers in the field. The 30-second video featured interviews with BASF leadership and student-competitors, and took the viewer on a journey through the competition.

TEENS' LAB VIDEO
The first in a four-part social media video series to raise awareness of BASF’s STEM Education offerings, our multimedia team gave the viewer a glimpse into the participants’ perspective of Teens’ Lab. The 60-second video featured interviews with BASF leadership, Teens’ Lab students and a birds-eye view through b-roll of the two-day.

STEM PRESENTATION
Incorporating brand elements developed for the overview brochure, our team updated BASF’s existing PowerPoint presentation used to provide an annual update on the STEM Education Program. Presented to BASF leadership and executives, the overview provided an understanding of the importance of gaining audience buy-in. Our team showcased the content by using a custom type treatment to highlight impactful data and strategically positioned large photographs of students in action.

Our team updated BASF’s existing PowerPoint presentation used to educate and inspire potential partners into action in supporting BASF’s Teens’ Lab. The briefing slides include a custom type treatment to call out impactful data and dynamic photographs of real students participating in Teens’ Lab to create a direct connection with the target audience.

COMMUNICATION ACTION PLAN
In support of BASF’s overarching goal to become a leader in the science education space, our team developed a two-year Communication Action Plan detailing a strategic and integrated approach to raising awareness of BASF’s offerings through internal and external communications. Rooted in research, the plan development included in-depth interviews with key internal and external stakeholders, and audits of competitors and BASF marketing materials, as well as a digital and social media presences audits, to provide a clear comparison. The goals formed the foundation of the plan with key messaging for the target audiences as well as identified actionable communication tools and tactics catered to key audience groups with a timeline for implementation and performance measures to evaluate the success of the plan.
