Lisa, an enthusiastic health educator, has an extensive academic and professional background in the health sciences. Anyone who meets Lisa instantly recognizes her passion for educating others. As a proud native Washingtonian, Lisa uses her passion for improving the health of people in her community to teach best practices in nutrition, wellness and health promotion at various universities in D.C., Maryland and Virginia.

A licensed nutritionist and professorial lecturer, Lisa has been a writer of behavioral health and a publication editor at several academic institutions. She believes in the importance of sharing accurate and relevant information about achieving optimal health for the health and well-being of all people.

Lisa enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, and eating alfresco on beautiful, sunny days. She loves visiting museums and art galleries as well as listening to local jazz artists around town.
