Sarah West Lobos

Government Public Affairs Specialist

Sarah's strong leadership skills and enthusiasm for the industry translate into successful communication strategies and tactics for A. Bright Idea's clients. As a government public affairs specialist, Sarah boasts strengths in strategic planning, crisis communications and project management.

As a press intern for Congressman Roscoe Barlett on Capitol Hill, Sarah authored op-ed pieces, conducted press conferences, maintained media relations, developed press releases, helped with the organization of special events, and developed detailed and organized strategies, ultimately growing her government relations skills and experience, benefiting A. Bright Idea's government clients.

Sarah also has a practical international experience with four years stationed in Ramstein AFG, Germany, as a military dependent. Being part of a military family has taken Sarah many places around the world from South Dakota to Germany. The constant shuffle provided Sarah with life lessons turned into worthwhile qualities that define success in public relations and advertising – flexibility, leadership, ambition and confidence.

When Sarah she's not hustling at work, she entertains herself as a self appointed restaurant critic, experiencing new venues with friends, grooving to hip hop, visiting spots around the globe or hanging out with her husband and cat, appropriately named, Madeline Albright.
