Anita's creative and personable approach to advertising and public relations coupled with her sound judgment and solid verbal and visual communication skills provide the foundation for the A. Bright Idea team and its 15 years of success.
Anita began her career as a public affairs specialist for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), working on a government contract for the U.S. Army's Chemical Demilitarization Program. She continued to support the project through a relationship with Booz, Allen & Hamilton before launching A. Bright Idea in 1996. A. Bright Idea has sustained support for the U.S. Army and serves as a subcontractor for SAIC.
A. Bright Idea's dedication to providing strategic solutions for a growing clientele base has earned accolades and awards from the League of American Communication Professionals Spotlight Award, the Summit Creative Award, the PRSA Best in Maryland Awards, The Communicator Awards, the Telly Awards, the Graphic Design USA Awards and The MarCom Creative Awards. Anita also led A. Bright Idea in winning the 2007 Better Business Bureau Torch Award, 2007 Harford Award and Top 100 MBE in 2006, 2008 and 2010.
A Jack-of-all-trades, Anita enjoys entertaining, cooking, and thumbing through creative design or food and wine magazines in her spare time. Not a stranger to the sports field, you can often find Anita cheering on daughter, Madison, or son, Parker, on the sidelines or driving the crew to a fun weekend getaway.
